By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has challenged the order dated 08.11.2024 whereby he has been placed under suspension. 3. Learned Standing Counsel submits that now since the petitioner has been served with the charge sheet he should be directed to submit reply the same and the enquiry may be proceeded with 4. In the given facts and circumstances, when the petitioner has been served with the charge sheet, I declined to granted indulgence in the matter. However, it is equally true that the petitioner cannot remain under suspension for indefinite period. 5. In these circumstances, I dispose of this petition with the direction to the petitioner to submit reply to the charge sheet issued to him on 08.11.2024 within a period of four weeks from today, in the event he has already not submitted his reply.
