Petitioner wants consideration of her application for insertion of the name as wife of the employee of Armed Forces. Sri Abrar Ahmad, learned counsel for the respondent submits that petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy before Armed Forces Tribunal constituted under Armed Forces Tribunal Act, 2007. Learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute the same, however, only she submits that application may be directed to be considered in accordance with law. In my considered view, once the Tribunal has been constituted for Armed Forces to adjudicate service dispute and claims in service matters, it would more appropriate for the petitioner to apply before Armed Forces Tribunal.
