Petitioner is aggrieved by show cause notice issued to him on 19.10.2024 whereby he has been directed to show cause as to why penal rent may not be charged from him for retaining the official accommodation after being transferred on 25.01.2024. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's ailing mother is with him and he requires the official accommodation in question only till July, 2025. 4. Since the petitioner has only assailed the show cause notice and has an opportunity to contest the matter before the Competent Authority by filing reply to the same, I decline to interfere in the matter. 5. However, it is provided that in the event, petitioner files his reply to the show cause notice within a period of four weeks from today with an undertaking that he would be vacating the official accommodation in question by July, 2025, sympathetic consideratio
