By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner wants higher placement in the seniority list of the 1994 batch of Constable. 3. It is submitted that if the placement of petitioner is corrected in the seniority list, he shall have consequential benefits. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that if the petitioner approaches the authority concerned in the above regard then his representation may be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law. He submits that respondent No. 3 is the competent authority in the matter. 5.
