By means of present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus for consideration of his claim for compassionate appointment on account of his father dying-in-harness on 21.1.2024 while working with respondent establishment. It is claimed that petitioner's claim for compassionate appointment is liable to be considered in accordance with law.
