This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant to the petitioners herein a revised pay scale of Rs. 5,000-8,000 with effect from 01.01.1996, in accordance with the Sixth Central Pay Commission (‘6th CPC’). 2.
