Learned Standing Counsel on the basis of instructions has submitted that the complaint made by the petitioner regarding misappropriation of public funds have duly been taken cognizance, pursuant to which, necessary action has followed against the alleged erring officer and the gram pradhan. Once it is informed that necessary proceedings were initiated and have been finalised by the authorities, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present writ petition as pending. We find that the grievance raised in the present writ petition has satisfactorily been redressed by the departmental authorities leaving no scope to pass any further order.
