Before rushing to this Court by filing the present writ petition in public interest seeking a writ of mandamus, the petitioner appears to have made no effort to approach the competent authority i.e. Municipal Corporation, Lucknow for looking into the grievance regarding certain buildings having become dilapidated. 3. The credentials of the petitioner are also doubtful in absence of any specific disclosure. Moreover, the documents obtained are through his own counsel under Right to Information Act. 4.
