On the basis of instructions received from the State, it is informed that the land in question has not been approved to be allotted for the purpose for which a resolution was passed by the Land Management Committee on 10.7.2023. 3. In these circumstances, we cannot go into the legality of such a decision particularly when the State Government is vigilant enough to maintain the facility of cremations at the places where the last rites of dead bodies are performed. 4. We, however, expect the State Government to explore the facility of the crematoriums alongwith the traditional cremations performed by kiths and kins of the people who le
