The present Petition has been filed under Article 226 read with Article 227 of the Constitution of India impugning the order dated 22.12.2017 [hereinafter referred to as “Impugned Order”] passed by the Authority under the Delhi Shops and Establishment Act, 1954 [hereinafter referred to as “Act”]. By the Impugned Order, the Petitioner has been directed to make a Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:JAI NARAYAN Signing Date:07.05.2025 W.P.(C) 3609/2023 Page 1 of 8 12:21:33 payment in the sum of Rs. 1,03,000/- to the Respondent No. 2 within 30 days. 5. By an order dated 13.07.2023, a Coordinate Bench of this Court directed that no coercive steps be taken against the Petitioner upon deposit of the awarded amount of Rs. 1,03,000/-.
