The present writ petition has been preferred with prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 27.3.2025 registered as Case Crime No.0074 of 2025, under Section 87 of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Pataherwa, District Kushinagar and for a direction to the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of impugned First Information Report. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the victim (first petitioner), who is major girl aged about 22 years (as alleged in the High School Mark-sheet), had solemnised marriage with second petitioner and victim is living happily with the second petitioner as his wife.
