The present writ petition has been preferred with prayer to quash the impugned First Information Report dated 2.3.2025 registered as Case Crime No. 47 of 2025, under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S., P.S. Kheta Sarai, District- Jaunpur. 3. Both the petitioners are major and has solemnised marriage on 25.02.2025 with their own free will. It is submitted that no offence under Sections 137(2), 87 B.N.S. are made out against the petitioners as the petitioner no. 2 is a major girl. As per High School Certificate, her date of birth is 10.05.2000. It is vehemently contended that the entire criminal case lodged against the petitioners is nothing but an abuse of the process of the law. 4.
