This bail application has been preferred by the accused- applicant, Sandeep Kumar, who is involved in Case Crime No. 29 of 2024, under Sections- 8/20 of N.D.P.S. Act and Sections- 467, 468, 465, 419, 420 IPC, P.S.- Naini, District- Prayagraj. There are allegations against the applicant of recovery of 80 kg of ganja from the possession of eight persons including the applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that by way of Notification dated 23 December, 2022, the Union Government has notified the enactment Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022.
