This bail application has been preferred by the accused-applicant, Moti Lal, who is involved in Case Crime No. 792 of 2023, under Section 8/20(A)/25 of N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Karvi Kotwali Nagar, District- Chitrakoot. There are allegations against the applicant that he was found in possession of 569.93 kg. of Ganja. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that by way of Notification dated 23 December, 2022, the Union Government has notified the enactment Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022.
