Learned A.G.A. informed that the notice has been served on the informant but no one has turned up to oppose the bail application. There are allegations against the applicant that he tried to forcibly convert religion of the girl abducted by his son. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the false allegation has been made against the applicant because of conduct of his son. Applicant has no criminal history except the aforesaid case. It is next submitted that there is also no possibility of the applicant either fleeing away from the judicial process or tampering with the witnesses. The applicant, who is languishing in jail since 7.7.2024 undertakes that he will not misuse the liberty, if granted. On the other hand learned A.G.A has opposed the prayer for bail.
