The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Sagar, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No.557 of 2024, under Sections 137(2), 87 of B.N.S. and Section 3(2)5 of SC/ST Act and Section 16/17 of POCSO Act, Police Station Shamli, District Shamli, during pendency of trial. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that the co-accused, Shiv, has been granted bail by this Court on 1.4.2025 in Criminal Misc. Bail Application No.5545 of 2025. The case of the applicant stands on identical footing, hence the applicant is also entitled for bail on the ground of parity for the reasons given in bail application of co-accused.
