The present bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of applicant, Abhimanyu Singh with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 349 of 2024, under Section 8/20/29 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station- Rampur Karkhana , District- Deoria. Learned counsel for the applicant has contended that applicant was not apprehended from the spot. No recovery of contraband was effected from the possession of the applicant. His name has surfaced on record on the basis of statement of co-accused. Except this, there is nothing adverse against the applicant.
