This bail application has been preferred by the accused- applicant, Gajendra, who is involved in Case Crime No. 165 of 2024, under Sections- 8/20/29/37/60 of N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Hapur Dehat, District- Hapur. There are allegations against the applicant of recovery of 1 quintal and 5 kg. of ganja along with 50 bundles of broom from the possession of applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that by way of Notification dated 23 December, 2022, the Union Government has notified the enactment Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022. Chapter II of the aforesaid rules provide for Sampling of the contraband substance. Rule 10 categorically provides that: 10.
