By means of this application, the applicant, Arif, who is involved in Case Crime No. 564 of 2023, under Sections- 8/20 N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Garhmukteshwar, District- Hapur and is in jail since 30.04.2024 is seeking enlargement on bail during the trial. It is submitted by learned counsel for the applicant that similarly placed co-accused, Salman, has already been enlarged on bail by this Court by order dated 15.3.2024 passed in Criminal Misc. Bail Application No. 6872 of 2024. He has further submitted that since the role of the applicant is identical to that of co-accused, Salman, who has already been enlarged on bail, he is also entitled to be enlarged on bail on the ground of parity and for the reasons given in the order of co-accused.
