The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Saleem, with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No. 285 of 2024, under Sections 272 of IPC and 60 of Excise Act, Police Station Katghar, District- Moradabad, during pendency of trial. Ten liters of spurious liquor was allegedly recovered from the applicant alongwith 1 kg of urea. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that the applicant has been falsely implicated in this case on the basis of planted recovery. He has criminal history of eight cases to his credit and is languishing in jail since 07.04.2024. The trial in the aforesaid case is not likely to be concluded in near future.
