This bail application has been preferred by the accused- applicant, Jitendra @ Jayanti @ Anil Yadav, who is involved in Case Crime No. 643 of 2023, under Section- 8/20 of N.D.P.S. Act, Police Station- Shikohabad, District- Firozabad. There are allegations against the applicant of recovery of 1 kg 200 gm of charas from the possession of applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that by way of Notification dated 23 December, 2022, the Union Government has notified the enactment Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Seizure, Storage, Sampling and Disposal) Rules, 2022. Chapter II of the aforesaid rules provide for Sampling of the contraband substance. Rule 10 categorically provides that: 10.
