There are allegations against the applicant of committing the offence of rape against the victim. Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is the father of victim. He got her marriage settled with a boy since his wife has died. The victim did not wanted to marry the boy of the choice of applicant. Therefore, she has falsely implicated the applicant in this case. His other children have not supported the allegation made against him. Before the trial court, only one prosecution witness has been examined. The statements of other witnesses is in progress as per report of trial court. The applicant is in jail since 03.10.2023 and has no criminal history to his credit. On the other hand learned A.G.A has opposed the prayer for bail.
