This bail application under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been moved on behalf of accused- applicant, Mahesh Ram Alias Mahesh Rai Alias Devendra Rai, seeking enlargement on bail in Case Crime No. 10 of 2025, under Sections 60(1), 63/72 Excise Act, Police Station- Bansdih, District- Ballia. Learned counsel for the applicant argued that the accused- applicant is innocent. He has been falsely implicated in this very case crime number and is languishing in jail since 24.01.2025. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the FIR, 302.400 litre Wine in 35 peti is alleged to have been recovered from a white Bolero which was being driven by the applicant. There is no independent witness of the alleged recovery. H
