Applicant seeks bail in Case Crime No. 289 of 2024, under Sections 69, 115(2), 108 of BNS, Police Station - Kotwali Sambhal, District - Sambhal, during the pendency of trial. 4. As per prosecution story, the applicant is stated to have established corporeal relationship with the victim on the false promise of marriage. The victim is stated to be a widow having three children from her earlier marriage. Subsequently, she is also stated to have set herself ablaze on the abetment of the applicant and on the refusal of marriage. 5. Learned counsel for the applicant has argued that the applicant is absolutely innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case.
