After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we are not inclined to interfere with the order of the Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Bench, Chandigarh. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed. Pending application, if any, stand disposed of. 3. However, the finding recorded by the Tribunal that the Unit/appellants were directly responsible for the death of the husband of the respondent, is directed to be expunged from the record. 4. The appellants are directed to release the amount of L 10,00,000/- granted by the Armed Forces Tribunal to the respondent, within a period of eight weeks.
