The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus seeking directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and her family members at the hands of private respondents. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the U.T. submitted that the present matter pertains to a property dispute between the parties and at the behest of the complainant/petitioner, the complaint lodged by him, has been closed. 3.
