The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction directing respondents no. 2 to 4 to ensure protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner, who is of marriageable age under Muslim Personal Law and intends to marry a person of her own choice. 2. There is no representation on behalf of the present petitioner, however, Dr. Mohammad Arshad, Advocate who is the counsel for petitioner - Parvej in connected petition bearing CRM-M-25719-2026 submits that he may be permitted to assist the Court in both these matters as the present petition has been filed through the maternal uncle of Parvej.
