Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘the BNSS’) for setting aside the impugned order dated 07.04.2026 (Annexure P-2) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur in FIR bearing No.213 dated 10.09.2019 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 323, 341, 452, 307, 379, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (for short ‘the IPC’) and Section 25 of Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Tanda, District Hoshiarpur, whereby, bail of the petitioner was cancelled and his bail/surety bonds were forfeited to the State. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that on 07.04.2026, due to some unavoidable circumstances, the petitioner could not appear before the trial Court.
