The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of order dated 07.02.2025 to the extent petitioners have not been granted interest on delayed payment of compensation. 2. The victim suffered electrocution in July’ 2019. The petitioner served notice upon respondents seeking compensation in November’ 2019. The compensation was released on 07.02.2025. 3. Learned counsel representing the petitioners submits that petitioners are entitled to interest as per Section 4A of Employees' Compensation Act, 1923 (for short ‘1923 Act’).
