The petitioner has filed the present revision petition against the impugned judgment dated 14.08.2008, passed by the Court of Sessions Judge, Fatehgarh Sahib, for its modification to the extent that respondent/accused may also be convicted for commission of the offence punishable under Section 307/326 IPC and the sentence may be enhanced accordingly as well as compensation to the tune of Rs.5 lacs be granted for the injuries and damages suffered by the petitioner. 2.
