The present revision petition has been instituted under Article 227 of the Constitution of India invoking the supervisory jurisdiction of this Court to assail the legality and correctness of the order dated 20.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) passed by the learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Rupnagar, acting in the capacity of the Executing Court. 2. The factual backdrop giving rise to the present proceedings is that the petitioner instituted a civil suit against the respondent-defendant/Judgment Debtor (JD) seeking the relief of specific performance of an agreement to sell dated 02.08.2008 pertaining to land measuring 50 acres.
