(ORAL) 1 The respondents have filed status report with respect to installation of watercourse in deference of the order passed by the Writ Court. 2 The petitioner, who is present in person, though admits that the watercourse has been restored but submits that he has been made to undergo prolonged agony of two years and had to bear heavy costs of litigation. 3 In view thereof, the present contempt petition is disposed off with costs of Rs.10,000/- to be paid to the petitioner, to be recovered from the personal pocket of Superintending Canal Officer-cum-Superintending Engineer. 4 Contempt petition stands disposed off.
