The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India seeking directions to the official respondents to provide adequate security/police protection of life and property of the petitioners from private respondents. It is stated in the petition that the petitioner has already made representation dated 01.05.2026 (Annexure P-5) before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala raising the said grievances, but no action has been taken so far. 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala to consider the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioners and take necessary action thereon qua threat perception. 3.
