The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent no.3 to grant the first, second, third and fourth ACP scales along with seniority due to the petitioners, who are working in the respondent Department as Lecturers of Management/ Computer Engineering. 3. Learned senior counsel contended that the benefit of ACP scales was declined to the petitioners on the ground that the regularisation policy under which their services were regularised vide order dated 29.08.2014, was under challenge before the Supreme Court in
