Instant habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner-Ramandeep Kaur, seeking the release of the detenue, namely Jagjit Singh @ Nanna (husband of the petitioner), from the alleged illegal detention of respondent No. 3, S.H.O., Police Station Sadar, Jamalpur District Ludhiana. 2. On 15.05.2026, following order was passed:- Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that detenue, being the husband of the petitioner, has been illegally picked up and detained by respondent No.3, namely the Station House Officer, Police Station Jamalpur, District Ludhiana, without any lawful authority, reason or registration of any FIR.
