The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 15.04.2026 (Annexure P-16), whereby the prayer of the petitioners for correcting their seniority in the seniority list, issued vide order dated 13.11.2025 (Annexure P-10) in terms of their objections on the basis of their retrospective promotion, vide orders dated 09.07.2025 (Annexure P-7) and dated 11.07.2025 (Annexure P-8) with effect from 21.07.2022 and 09.09.2024 respectively, has been declined, while recording wrong date of promotion of the petitioners on the post of Lecturer as 05.08.2025.
