The appellant has filed the present appeal against the impugned judgment of conviction and the order of sentence dated dated 01.06.2005, passed by the Court of Addl. Sessions Judge, Ludhiana, whereby the appellant has been convicted for commission of the offence punishable under Section 328 of the Indian Penal Code and has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2% years and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/-. In default of payment of fine, he was to further undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of three months. 3.
