The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them minimum of the Regular Pay Scale plus Dearness Allowance along with arrears and interest on the post of ANM (Female)/Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) at par with regular employees in terms of the judgment of Hon’ble Supreme Court in State of Punjab & others Vs. Jagjit Singh, 2016 (4) SCT 641 and also in terms of judgment of this Court rendered in CWP-26367-2018 titled ‘Pritpal Kaur & others Vs. State of Punjab & another’ on 25.11.2024 (P-8). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have also served legal notice dated 01.03.2026 (Annexure P-14) to the respondents, which is still pending consideration.
