The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and decide the petitioners’ claim for re- allotment against a vacant station particularly in view of letters dated 18.02.2026 and 06.05.2026 (Annexures P-7 & P-8). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioner/s have also served legal notice dated 27.02.2026 (Annexure P-3) to the respondents, which is still pending consideration.
