DAILY LOK ADALAT BENCH NO.3 508 FAO-5005-2013 (O&M) MAYA DEVI @ MAYA & ORS V/S RAJ PAL & ORS Present: Mr. Adish Gupta, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. Pradeep Kumar, Advocate for the Insurance Company. Discussed. A statement made on behalf of the appellants that in full and final satisfaction of their claim, an amount of Rs.4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lac Fifty Thousand only) over and above the amount awarded by the tribunal be awarded and be disbursed to appellants, having been accepted on behalf of the insurer of the offending vehicle, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the insurer to deposit with the office of the Lok Adalat a cheque in the sum of Rs.4,50,000/- (Rupees Four Lac Fifty Thousand only) favouring appellant No.1-Smt.Maya Devi @ Maya, for and on behalf of all the claimants, within six weeks from today, failing which the amount hereby awarded shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of this order till payment thereof. On behalf of appellant No.1-Smt.Maya Devi @ Maya, it has also been stated that in case of any dispute regarding apportionment amongst the appellants, she shall satisfy claim of the other appellants.
