Respondents CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH BHARDWAJ *** Present :- Mr. Nitish Sharma, Advocate for the petitioners. *** RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (Oral) 1. Prayer in this petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for directing the official respondents to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners by providing adequate security/police protection to the petitioners and also directing respondents No.4 to 8 along with their relatives not to harm the petitioners in any manner. Further prayer has been made for directing official respondents to decide the representation dated 20.05.2026 (Annexure P-5) of the petitioners. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that both the petitioners are major and have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 to 8 and have sought protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondents No.4 to 8. Their marriage certificate and photographs evidencing their marriage are on record as Annexures P-3 and P-4.
