Prayer in this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the impugned order dated 01.02.2018 (Annexure P-4), order dated 01.10.2020 (Annexure P-6), order dated 26.03.2021 (Annexure P-12) and order dated 15.04.2021 (Annexure P- 13) vide which the respondent No.3, respondents No.4 to 5 and respondents No.7 to 8 respectively have been promoted to the post of Chief Sanitary Inspector. Further prayer has been made to quash the impugned order dated 18.03.2021 (Annexure P-11) passed by the respondent No.1. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the respondents No.1 and 2
