The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them pay scale and allowances as per Punjab State Elementary Education (Teaching Cadre) Group-C Service Rules, 2018 i.e. 10300-34800 + 4200 Grade Pay, initial pay Rs.16290/- along with all allowances applicable under the 5th Punjab Pay Scale Matrix, with further revisions by extending them the benefit of judgment of this Court in CWP-15896-2023 titled as ‘Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and others’ decided on 13.09.2024 (Annexure P-6) and instructions dted 05.01.2026 (Annexure P-1). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have also served legal notice dated 11.02.
