The present application has been preferred under Section 378(4) Cr.P.C. seeking grant of leave to appeal of the judgment of acquittal dated 30.09.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Gurdaspur in the complaint case filed under Sections 420,120-B,500,506 of IPC. 2. The brief facts of the case are that the complainant, Gurnam Singh, alleged that accused Nos. 1 and 2, residents of Village Tibbar, represented that ac- cused No. 1, Palwinder Singh, was employed in the Secretariat at Chandigarh and possessed considerable influence, having allegedly secured government jobs for several candidates. On this representation, he assured the complainant that he could arrange a government job for his son, Gagandeep Singh.
