By way of present appeal, challenge has been laid to the Award dated 24.08.2018 passed by the learned Addl. District Judge, SAS Nagar (hereinafter to be referred as the ‘Reference Court’). 2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the appellants submits that the present appeal is squarely covered by the judgment dated 25.02.2026 passed by this Court in a bunch of appeals, lead case of which was RFA-1172- 2017, titled “Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) Versus Jasvir Singh Dhaliwal and others” whereby the market value on the date of notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’) was assessed @ Rs.4,15,59,750/- per acre. 3.
