The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant and release fixed emoluments/salary to the petitioners at par with the monthly gross salary of a regularly appointed Assistant Professor in terms of Clause 13 of the UGC Regulations, 2010 and 2018 along with all consequential arrears and interest @ 6% per annum from the date of joining till actual realization. Further, to extend the benefit of judgment passed by this Court in CWP-21780-2022 titled as ‘Rajan Goyal Vs. UGC and others’ decided on 30.04.2026 (Annexure P-14) to the petitioners along with consequential arrears and interest @ 6% per annum from the date the same became due till actual realization and to extend the
