2026:PHHC:082300 Daily Lok Adalat Bench No.2. 505 FAO-1275-2005 CHANDER BHAN AND ORS. vs GURMAIL SINGH AND ORS. Present:- Mr. Kapish Singla, Advocate with Ms. Diksha, Advocate for the appellants. Mr. R.C. Gupta, Advocate with Mr. Vinod Gupta, Advocate and Ms. Pooja Bhardwar, Assistant Manager for the respondent-Insurance Company. sek ese As agreed, as per statements of learned counsel for the appellants and learned counsel and representative of the Insurance Company (separately recorded), a sum of Rs.7,00,000/- (Rupees Seven Lakh Only) over and above the amount awarded by the Tribunal is allowed to the appellants in full and final settlement of the claim in this appeal. As per the statement of learned counsel for the appellants, the enhanced amount be paid to appellant No.1-Chander Bhan son of Shri Ashu. Accordingly, we dispose of this case with a direction to the Insurance Company to deposit a crossed-cheque for Rs.7,00,000/- in the name of the appellant No.1- Chander Bhan son of Shri Ashu with the office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court on or before 13.07.2026, in compliance of this order, failing which, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount from the date of this
