The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the part of the orders dated 10.04.2026 (Annexure P-4) of Jails Department, Government of Punjab, regarding reverting the petitioner to the post of Deputy Superintendent Grade-2 from Deputy Superintendent Grade-1. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to reconsider the case of the petitioner in the lines of earlier decision dated 18.07.2025 (Annexure P- 6). 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to file a fresh one on the same cause of action with better particulars and by making relevant averments in the petition with regard to the vacancy position. 3. Dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. 26.05.2
