The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus directing respondents No.2 & 3 for the release the detenue, Shobha w/o Ankush, from illegal detention of respondents No.4 to 6. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenue, who is wife of the petitioner, has been forcibly detained by respondents No. 4 and 5. 3. Vide order dated 04.05.2026, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court, however, as per the report of the Mediator, despite best efforts, the parties could not arrive at an amicable settlement.
