Pal, learned counsel for the respondents that the present writ petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of delay and latches particularly when the order dated 31.05.2016 passed by Deputy Director, Staff Selection Commission, Prayagraj, U.P. cancelling the candidature of the writ petitioner for the post of Constable (G.D.) in CAPFs and Rifle Man (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination-2013 is under challenge in the year 2026 without there being any satisfactory explanation to delay and latches. 3.
